I am not usually one to call out someone’s arrogance (and hopefully this plate has an alternate meaning for the driver that I am not quite understanding) but unless that is the real J.C. driving a Chevy in front of me – or perhaps his mother, Mary – this sems a lot like the Pharisee in Luke 18. All I’m saying is that it seems a little bold to put that on your license plate is all. I think the tax collector’s prayer “O God, be merciful to me, a sinner” (Lk 18:13) is the safer way to go. But I guess you can’t fit all of that onto a single vanity license plate.
