I photo blogged before about the ketchup gold standard. There is Heinz and there is nothing else worth putting on any food whatsoever. Heinz is the only option ever… It is also a Pittsburgh institution.
Coming home from the Atlantic coast, we found this great little greasy spoon place in the mountains of central PA – not that far from State College, PA and only 2½ hours from Pittsburgh. How can a place in Pennsylvania have Heinz malt vinegar, but skimp out of the ketchup?
