Am I the only one who finds this virtue signaling by Planet Fitness ironic – where out in the main gym area there are about a dozen or more brown roll paper towel dispensers with sanitizer spray bottles for the gym rats to wipe down their exercise and weight machines after each use? I am 100% in favor of limiting my own physical contact with other Planet Fitness patrons’ sweat and fully support the gym wipe down etiquette. But when the average gym goer’s machine use to hand washing ratio remains higher than 1:1 – maybe you should save your locker room spin doctoring to some less indictable company-wide offense.
