I was walking this morning along a familiar route. My daughter and I pass by this location on a regular basis walking to and from school – which will be starting back up again for a new year in just three more days. In the past there had been a pretty loud and protective dog behind this fence who would often charge the fence at any sign of passersby – usually startling one or both of us as we walked past even when we knew its loud barking was likely coming.
As I walked past the fence this morning I heard a strange sound that didn’t quite sound like a dog. My curiosity got the best of me and I walked over to investigate. I suppose the free eggs for the family who lives here is a bonus?
